Fung is the Head Coach at the East Market location. He is approaching his 3rd year representing the MSBC’s Thrive program with City Fitness. Fung moved to Philly from Hong Kong when he was 6 years old. Along with his B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Rutgers, Fung has worked with Physical Therapists and gained extensive knowledge regarding functional anatomy and injury rehabilitation/prevention. His favorite quote is “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” –Socrates. My philosophy is that everyone should be able to see and feel what their body is capable of and be able to reach their fullest potential. From working as an intern at a physical therapy clinic, I have witnessed many patients struggle to perform simple, everyday tasks such as walking up the stairs, touching their toes, tying their shoes). My goal as a coach is to interject at the front end and help people maintain their physical health so they don’t have to start physical therapy in the future. I strive to help my clients feel better, move better and look better by helping them keep an active and healthy life. Besides fitness, Fung enjoys exploring different museums and art galleries.

Fun Fact: Born in Hong Kong. Speak three languages! I enjoy going to museums at different cities!
